We are using script- and font libraries e.g. Google Webfonts (https://google.com/webfonts/) to display all our contents correctly and graphically appealing for all browsers. Google Webfonts are transmitted to the cache of your browser to prevent the multiple loading. In case your browser does not support Google Webfonts or is blocking the access the contents are displayed in standard font.

When opening script libraries and font libraries this automatically releases a connection to the owner of the library. In this case it is theoretically possible – but currently unclear if and for what purpose – that the owner of the relevant libraries may collect data.

Some of our website have embedded YouTube videos. The owner of the relevant Plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When visiting a website with a YouTube-plugin a connection to the YouTube service will be made. YouTube gets information what websites you are visiting. When being logged-in with your YouTube-account YouTube can relate your surfing habit to you personally. This can be avoided by logging out from your YouTube-account before. 

When starting a YouTube video the provider is using cookies which are collecting details on the user habit. 

When having deactivated the recording of cookies for the Google-Ad-program one should not expect such cookies when watching YouTube videos. However, YouTube is taking non-personalized usage information also in other cookies. If you want to prevent this you have to block the storing of cookies in your browser.

SOCIAL PLUGINS

Our websites are using social plug-ins of below specified providers. The plug-ins can be identified by the corresponding logo.

Plug-ins might possibly send information, also including personalized data, to the service provider and he possibly may get use of it.  We are avoiding the unconscious and unintentional collecting and transmission of data to the service provider by using a 2-click-solution. To activate a desired social plug-in one has to click on the corresponding button first. Only this activation of plug-in releases the collection of information and its transmission to the service provider. We by ourselves do not collect any personal data via social plug-ins or by using them. 

It is outside of our influence what data are collected by an activated plug-in and how the provider makes use of it. Currently one has to start from the fact that a direct connection to the services of the provider is made and at least the IP-address and device information will be collected and used. There is also the possibility that the service provider tries to store cookies on the utilized computer. The specific data collected and its use can be obtained from the privacy notice of the respective service provider. Note: In case you are at the same time registered with Facebook, Facebook can identify you as a visitor of a certain website.

GOOGLE ADWORDS

Our website is using the Google conversion-tracking. In case you have been directed to our website via a Google advertisement Google Adwords is placing a cookie on your computer. The cookie for conversion-tracking is placed when a user is clicking a Google advertisement. These cookies become invalid after 30 days time and cannot be used for personal identification. In case the user is visiting certain pages of our website and the cookie is still valid we and Google can see that the user has clicked the advertisement and was transferred to this page. Every Goodle AdWords-customer is getting a different cookie. Consequently, cookies cannot be tracked via websites of AdWords-customers. The information received by means of conversion cookies are used to issue conversion statistics for AdWords-customers who decided to use conversion tracking. The customers get to know the total number of users who have clicked their advertisement and have been passed-on to a page with conversion-tracking-tag. However, they do not get any information for personal identification of the user.

If you do not want to use the tracking you can refuse the necessary setting up of a cookie – either by installing your browser-settings to generally deactivate the automatic setting-up of cookies or by setting your browser to block cookies of domain ‘googleleadservices.com’.
